Brian Clancey , Doctor of Physical Therapy
Brian Clancey, PT, DPT attended Northeastern University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). While studying to become a physical therapist, Brian also spent 5 years as a member of Northeastern University Men’s Rugby Team. After competing on the field, Brian was later given the opportunity to help coach and develop players at both Northeastern and Milton High School. During his tenure at Milton High, Brian spent time in the athletic training room and in the weight room, providing complimentary injury screens and supervising safe lifting techniques.
Brian’s clinical experiences include working in outpatient orthopedics, sports outpatient, and inpatient rehab. He has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations presenting with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and developmental pathologies. Through his cooperative educational and clinical experiences, Brian developed a strong interest in utilizing exercise-based treatment techniques along with manual therapy to help patients reach their rehabilitation goals. Brian is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute with his TPI Level 1 Medical and through Functional Movement Systems with his Selective Functional Movement Assessment Level 1. He enjoys putting these certifications to use by helping golfers improve their movement quality and optimize their performance.
Originally from New Jersey, Brian currently lives in Roslindale. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys spending his free time playing rugby, hockey, and golfing. Brian looks forward to working with local athletes of all abilities.
