Kevin O’Brien , Doctor of Physical Therapy
Kevin O’Brien, PT, DPT, OCS, is a physical therapist at our North Attleboro clinic. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He continued his graduate work at The Sage Colleges where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). His clinical affiliations afforded him the opportunity to travel from Albany, NY to Portland, ME while treating patients in a variety of settings across the continuum of care; including acute medical care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics.
Kevin is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and his physical therapy interests include general orthopedics, sports medicine, and injury prevention. Kevin has a specializes in shoulder rehabilitation and has taken several courses on shoulder impingement, rotator cuff pathology, and thoracic outlet syndrome. He has additionally received further training in the McKenzie Method for low back pain, Evidence in Motion’s manipulation and treatment of lumbo-pelvic disorders, and the application of therapeutic taping. Kevin recently became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Kevin is passionate about the promotion of health and wellness in the North Attleboro community, and participates in Little North Attleboro League Day and preseason baseball and softball injury assessments.
