Victoria Tomaka , Doctor of Physical Therapy
Victoria Tomaka, PT, DPT a graduate of University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Vicky then continued her post-graduate studies at Franklin Pierce University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. While at U of C, she was a 4-year member of the Division III Women’s Softball Team.
Vicky’s clinical experiences include outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neuro, and acute rehabilitation. During her clinical rotations, Vicky was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations including patients presenting with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and vestibular pathologies including BPPV (vertigo) and vestibular hypofunction. She is a certified LSVT-Big provider, which is a researched-based protocol for the treatment of patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
Vicky grew up the western suburbs of Chicago. She currently lives in Quincy. She enjoys spending her free time cooking, baking, hiking, playing slow-pitch softball, and cheering on Chicago sports teams.
