Jami Swedick, PT, DPT is the Clinical Director at Elliott Physical Therapy. She graduated from MGH Institute for Health Professions where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2012. Jami started her career at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital in the outpatient department treating a range of diagnoses including orthopedic and neurological disorders. She also has worked in a Sports and Conditioning clinic where she treated a range of athletes and weekend warriors with the specific goal of return to sport/activity.
Jami has had great interest in sports her entire life being an athlete herself playing volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and while at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy. All of which helps drive her career and interest in helping her patients reach their specific goals. Also, Jami participates in continuing education courses annually which provides the most current evidence based practice to allow her to treat her patients most effectively.
Jami works Monday through Thursday in Elliott Physical Therapy’s Milton office. She has special interest in manual therapy skills, including Dry Needling, IASTM, Kinesotaping, and other soft tissue techniques. She also specializes in sports injury prevention and return to sport treatment. Jami is passionate about treating all types of patients and helping them reach their desired goals, and ultimately allowing them live their lives to the fullest.
