Olivia Parsons, PT, DPT

Olivia Parsons, PT, DPT completed her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science. She continued her graduate work at Simmons College where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Her clinical affiliations provided her with a broad range of injuries and diagnoses from Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis to treating common musculoskeletal injuries. Her experiences have exposed her to a variety of clinical settings from skilled nursing facilities to outpatient orthopedics to outpatient neurological. Her curiosity in pursuing a career in the outpatient setting was sparked by her opportunity to treat patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, vestibular rehabilitation, and post-concussion management.

In addition to studying her curriculum and completing hands-on field work, Olivia also acted as a Graduate Assistant (GA) for one DPT program course at Simmons College, Musculoskeletal I/II. Olivia is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has a certificate in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization I (IASTM-1). Olivia regularly participates in local 5k and charity events as well as works closely with the North Attleboro Council on Aging facilitating a Falls Prevention Program. In addition, she is well equipped to screen your sports team to identify any athletes who might be at risk for injury and provide you with exercises to prevent such injury.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys reading, traveling and running.
