Our Team

Ty Nickerson is a Care Coordinator at Elliott Physical Therapy’s North Attleboro location.

Ty is currently a high school student, attending North Attleboro High School, and is planning on going to college to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist. While excelling in academics, Ty is also an athlete outside of the classroom. Ty started gymnastics when he was 3 years old, and the sport has been a part of his life ever since. Gymnastics is in fact the reason he wants to become a PT!

In gymnastics, he learned from a very young age how to maneuver his body in whichever way necessary. Seeing the effects on the outside, has interested him on what goes on inside the body. He loves to learn about the human body and wants to implement his physical therapy studies into gymnastics later in life. He wants to teach gymnasts how they can provide care for their bodies while they are enduring so much pressure when landing a big skill or stretching to their limits. 

In his free time, Ty likes to hang out with his dog Bailey, and catch up on his favorite TV shows. Although he is still young, Ty is excited to learn all he can about PT while working at Elliot Physical Therapy and knows it will better prepare himself for furthering his education in the profession.
