Darryl Elliott

(Owner | Physical Therapist)

Darryl Elliott, PT graduated from Northeastern University in 1990 with a degree in Physical Therapy. Over the course of his 30+ year career, Darryl has provided exceptional care across a variety of settings, including Carney Hospital, outpatient private practice, and Boston University. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University, Boston University, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, teaching professional issues in physical therapy and clinical coursework while mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

Over the past two decades, Darryl has demonstrated strong entrepreneurial, leadership, and operational abilities. He successfully developed and managed physical therapy offices as a partner in a large physical therapy organization before founding Elliott Physical Therapy in 2014, fulfilling a lifelong dream of building a community-centered practice grounded in clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Darryl has been deeply involved in professional and community leadership. He has held leadership roles within the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association and currently serves as an active board member of the New England Physical Therapy Network, the Beth Israel Deaconess–Milton Hospital Advisory Board, and the John F. X. Mahoney, MD Foundation. In addition, he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University and on the Northeastern University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (NUDPT) Advisory Board.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Darryl is committed to strengthening the health and well-being of the communities he serves, generously contributing his time and expertise to local organizations. In addition to his professional work in healthcare, Darryl and his wife, Patti, are investors in Triton Beverage Group — a personal passion project separate from his clinical work. Known for his boundless energy, Darryl enjoys spending time with Patti and their adult sons — whether skiing the trails at Waterville Valley, shucking oysters, entertaining friends, or competing on the golf course or tennis courts in his beloved Wellfleet.

Through Elliott Physical Therapy, Darryl has built more than a practice — he has created a culture of excellence dedicated to strengthening communities, developing future leaders in physical therapy, and setting a standard for compassionate, results-driven care.
