Our Team

Rebecca Shorr, PT, DPT grew up in Worcester County, MA and completed her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at UMass Amherst with a minor in Psychology. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Rhode Island.

Becca completed clinical rotations at multiple outpatient orthopedics (including one at Elliott!) and at an inpatient skilled nursing facility. She also has clinical experience in neurological rehab, pediatrics and acute care. Through URI, Becca became PWR! certified and led her school’s Parkinson’s Exercise Group classes while conducting research on the effects of weekly community based exercise in people with Parkinson’s Disease. Becca has a love for helping patients across the lifespan get back to activities they love and has experience working with ages 4 months-100 years old. 

In her free time she enjoys running, reading and listening to Taylor Swift while reminiscing about boybands of the 2010s.
