(PT, DPT)
Robert Furtado, PT, DPT is a graduate of Quinnipiac University, where he completed both his undergraduate degree in health sciences as well as his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT).
Robbie’s clinical experiences have focused on outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and inpatient acute care rotation where he worked in a variety of settings, from joint replacements, liver and kidney transplants, as well as neuro and general medicine.
At Quinnipiac, Robbie participated in many programs varying from refereeing intramurals to participating in a club centered around providing toy motorized cars for children with disabilities, as well as participating in a camp revolved around empowering young people with limb loss or limb differences to develop a happy and independent lifestyle.
Along with his interests in orthopedics, Robbie’s special interests lie in sports-related rehabilitation, as well golf golf-related injuries and mechanics.
From Attleboro, Robbie is an avid outdoorsman, running, hiking, playing pickleball, and golfing any free time he gets.
